Curations

Hello! I’m Bryce.

I’m a rising freshman Civil Engineering student from Santa Clarita, CA.

I’m interested in transit and sustainable development, additive and subtractive manufacturing, CAD and automation, and mechatronics.

I’m proficient in CAD, particularly Onshape and Fusion 360. (I’ll add some of my work to this website soon.)

I’ve also worked with manufacturing, specifically 3D printing and CNC machining. Fusion 360 CAM is my software of choice for that.

Outside of engineering, some of my hobbies also include photography, travel, and riding roller coasters. I’ve ridden around 70 roller coasters globally including in Japan, Korea, and across the US.

Projects

I’ve participated heavily in the FIRST Robotics Competition on multiple teams.

The bulk of my time was spent on FRC 691, the team at my high school. I joined as a freshman and was one of the main design students until the end of the 2025 season.

For the 2025 season I was also involved with FRC 980, a team based out of the San Fernando Valley, where I helped their CAD team.

I’m currently involved in FRC 11096, the FIRST Robotics Competition team which I started as a senior. I served as the team captain in its’ rookie year, and I’m considering going into mentoring.

In total, I’ve designed, iterated on, and helped build mechanisms for around 10 competition robots.

I’m also currently working on projects for hack club YSWS programs.

Employment

I’m about to start an internship at LA Metro!

Some things I’ve made or find interesting

Tech Stack

Software

I use Arc as well as Dia for my main browsers.

My main IDE at the moment is Antigravity. I’m debating whether or not to switch over to either cursor or IntelliJ though since i’m still learning.

Hardware

Relatively low key at the moment. Main machine: macbook air m3 16gb. I built a pc ~8 years ago that i’ve upgraded a few times, but it’s seen better days.

I also use a pixel 7 pro as my phone and have a galaxy watch 6 classic for my smartwatch.

3D printing has been an interest of mine for a few years now. I started in 2021 with a creality ender 3, and have since upgraded to a flashforge AD5M. i’ve mainly used it for practical purposes like household upgrades and printing FRC parts. I’ve experimented on it with more exotic and “unsupported” filaments like nylon, polycarbonate, and carbon fiber composites.

Photography

I’ve been taking photos since I was about 10, but I started getting more serious around 2023. I haven’t had any formal photography training but learned a lot through taking many roller coaster photos on trips.
